My Germany Scrapbook
<places / germany
In early 1999 our company was invited to attend a carrier conference sposnored by Volkswagen of America with whom we were doing business. The event was to take place in October of that year.

Dan and I had a great time diving into the German atmosphere. We landed in Hanover Germany, rented a car and set out for a town called Braunchweig. We did not speak the language or have any real idea of where we were going. We went with the flow. Thank goodness all you have to do at McDonalds is point and say "Number 2, Coke"! Hold out a handful of coins and they will take the proper amount.

Instead of giving you a worded account, I will show you a scrapbook that was made by my friend, Kathy Jenkins. She took the photos we brought back and made me a very nice scrapbook. I have placed the electronic version here for you to look at.
A word about the scrapbook

The scrapbook itself is 11" x 17" which is quite a bit bigger than my scanner will handle. Therefore, I had to scan each page twice and stitch them together. I tried to adjust the resulting photos to look like one page but theres an obvious line about 2/3 of the way down each page. So sue me.
