How I got started playing guitar

Around the first of April 2006, I had a dream that I learned how to play guitar. I believed the Lord was telling me to do this. The next day I heard a commercial on the radio about the Dallas Guitar Show. I invited a friend and began researching guitars. I figured that I could learn, and I could use the time I spend watching tv each night. I want to play the guitar in the band at church.

Dixie

Her full name Big Dixie Dynamite. She was born on June 5, 2006 and sat in a warehouse in Lenexa, KS for two or three months until Aug 31st when I said I wanted her. She arrived in Dallas on Sept. 7, 2006 at 2:33 pm, and has been a part of the family ever since. Read a review here. To see how she got to me, click here.

Dixie was named after a close friend of mine. On the day she arrived, I took her to Mike at Musicians Headquarters and he tuned her for me. Thanks, Mike.
