A nice relaxing drive

May 7, 2003
Orange County, CA

The drive was only about 15 miles, but it was a very relaxing one. You see, Jason and I had just left Anaheim Hills Golf Course (which is my favorite) and were headed to Tustin Ranch. But since we had an hour or so until our tee time, we opted against going the freeway route. Instead we programmed our destination into the Hertz Neverlost system and the lady took us on a more direct route. The road from Anaheim Hills to Tustin is a new one that goes right over a mountain. So here is what made the trip so nice:
A. We were off work
B. We were in California
C. Driving a new Lincoln
D. Perfect cool weather in May
E. Going from my favorite golf course to the most beautiful one
F. The guy on the radio had the courtesy of waiting until we were in the car before playing two Led Zeppelin tunes:
• A sweet live version of “Over the Hills and Far Away”
• And “How Many More Times”, which just rocks.

So, you can see why I will remember this drive for a long time.
