Lord, we thank you for how you have blessed our business and particularly for the truck drivers who represent our company and the job they do.
Father, these men work hard day after day doing so much more than just driving. This is hard, demanding work that most people simply cannot do. I thank you for the efforts they make to get the freight loaded and delivered. So many times the cars arent where they are supposed to be or the paperwork isnt available or one of many other reasons for a delay, but these professional drivers do whatever it takes to get the job done. They do a real good job for us and Im thankful for the strength you have given them and the work ethic they show in doing this job.
Lord, I ask that you would safeguard each driver as he loads the cars, walks the lots of our customers, gets in and out of his truck on busy roadways, maneuvers his way thru the crowded truckstops, climbs on and off his trailer, and drives down the interstate doing his job. Would you keep a wall of protection around him? Would you bless him in his effort to accomplish his truck driving job? Father, would you enable him to earn a living and provide for his family?
Holy Father, I ask that you would also protect the families of our valued truck drivers while they are away from home. Lord, please protect each and every family member that they would be able to focus on their jobs and schoolwork. I pray that the stresses of being on the road would be eliminated for the driver and his family. I pray that the families would be able to do all they need to, even though their husband / dad is not around to help. I pray that marriages and family relationships would be strengthened and you would be glorified in the lives of our drivers and their families.
Thank you for how you have blessed these families, for the skills and strength you have given to them, thank you for the hard work that they do, and their commitment to it. Lord, our business is blessed to be associated with such hard working people. Please keep Your hand on our truck drivers.
In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
