Oh Lord, you have given me more opportunities than I can even see. When I pray to you and ask, you open my eyes to more and more of what was already around me. You make new opportunities available. Today you sent prayer and ministry requests to me. How wonderful! Praise God for these opportunities to serve your kingdom. Thank you for allowing me to store up treasures in heaven.

Lord, please help me to tell the difference in an opportunity that you have sent and trivial busyness. I don’t want to waste the time you have given me being unproductive, but I want to attack a task that you have set before me, that your kingdom may be blessed. What a blessing for me that I might be a blessing to someone else.

You have blessed me with talents, time and a willingness to serve. I praise your holy name! Thank you for giving me ways to serve you that I enjoy so much. Thank you that I can serve you in my job. Thank you that I am asked to help with different assignments at church. Thank you that YOU direct me to ways I can serve you. Please guide me as I take advantage of these opportunities to help the heavenly kingdom that you would be glorified and I would bow humbly to your will.

Lord, I will look for a chance to serve you. Father, send someone whom I can help. I will keep my eyes open to see who you send my way. I pray for boldness in what I say to them, that you may be lifted up in my words and my actions and even my attitude.

I anxiously await tomorrow and the new prospects it will bring. Lord Jesus, you have said that whatever we ask for in your name, we will receive. Tomorrow I will have new opportunities. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
