Lord, you are the wonderful healer who knows about all our sicknesses and is able to heal and restore us no matter what the infirmity. Lord, I come to you and ask that you would make us well.
Lord, a brother has been diagnosed with cancer. His family is afraid of losing him and they do not know how to handle this. Would you guide them?
O God, a sister is in constant pain and is in danger of losing hope. Would you renew her hope in her wonderful Lord and Savior?
A young person has been injured, another is sick and hurting, and another has suddenly suffered a stroke or a heart condition. Would you restore them to health?
Father, we pray for our friends and family who are sick. It hurts us to see them in such pain, Lord would you ease their pain right now? We call on the name of Jesus, our savior and ask that you would bring comfort and hope to our brother and sister.
Im not sure how to pray, I just know you have told us in your word that if we confess our sins to each other and pray for each other, we will be healed. Lord, I confess right now that I am a sinner, my friend here is a sinner and we confess to you that we have been wrong and want to be right with you. Lord, please forgive us where we have failed you, and give us the strength to turn from our sins.
Youve told us that the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well and that you would lift them up. We have complete faith in you and your ability to heal. We have complete faith that you are hearing our prayer and have already begun the healing process. We have complete faith that only you can save us from our sins.
Youve told us in your word to pray in the spirit on all occasions and with all kinds of requests. We are coming to you in prayer at this time because our loved one is sick and needs your help. Our request is for complete recovery. Our desire is for a healed body and a stronger faith in you.
Lord, if in your perfect timing and your perfect plan, you allow us to suffer a while longer, praise God that you are using us for your own glory! Praise God above that we get to suffer for you! Holy and wonderful loving God, I thank you that I have the privilege of lifting my friend up to you in prayer and that you have blessed us with your presence. We trust you will provide him with what is best for him, and with what will honor and glorify you. That is our sincere prayer.
In Jesus name. Amen.
