How to fly
Flight is indeed possible without the aid of wings or other means of external propulsion. It is mainly a result of intense concentration and preparation. I have had much success with this technique.
The flight process begins with the proper placement of the body and mind. Roll the eyes back and relax. Background noise must be audible and constant. (Dont worry the tinitus and noise will probably cancel each other out) Above all, a keen sense of confidence must be present. While in the takeoff position, you will slowly sink in to the liftoff mode (You can also get football scores this way). This is the most intense element of the entire flight process, although the liftoff itself can be very exhilerating. When you feel the sensation that you are approaching liftoff, the confidence will kick in. You are pulled into pre-flight. There is no turning back and really no desire to do so.
A sense of perfect timing will take over as you countdown 5-4-3-2-1. Outstretched arms (although mostly for looks and confidence) will guide your liftoff. Dont panic if your flight pattern takes a sudden backward loop path. Simply go with it and straighten up after you pass the ground. Remember, confidence. It may take several Sundays to achieve liftoff.
I prefer to fly just slightly above ground level at a position of about 45 degrees, knees slightly bent, arms at side. My toes are pointed straight down or just slightly to the rear.
This low altitude method, is a good choice for residential flight. Another less known secret involves flying up stairwells in a way that can be undetected to passersby. Optimum confidence is required and your body will be lifted as though an invisible big person has grabbed you by the collar and is dragging your limp body up the steps. The tops of your feet will actually hit the edge of each step as you thump, thump, thump up the stairs. The confidence gained from negotiating the stairs will solidify your standing in the flying community.
Now, go out and fly, and make it a good day!
Floating
The float system is similar to flying in that it requires the same preparation and concentration, but takes place within a very small space. In fact you may have to focus more to hover. Personally, I use my eyes as my mental wings.
I floated last night in a room while being observed by friends. My body lifts 2- 4 feet off the ground (much higher than street magicians) and I can lean back as well. To me, it's absolutely amazing, but I did not seem to impress my friends. Maybe they were dreaming.
